How To Care For Your New Picture Frame
We LOVE being a part of preserving your artwork and we are proud to present it to you read to hang at its absolute best.
To look after your frames we recommend:
HANG ME SECURELY
A hook in the wall or a hanging system is the most secure way to display your artwork.
CLEAN ME GENTLY
A soft microfibre cloth for dusting is best. When cleaning your glass, spray your cloth or paper towel and then clean the glass rather than spraying directly onto the artwork.
DON'T HANG IN FULL SUNLIGHT
The Aussie sun is harsh and it will deteriorate all artwork over time, regardless of the medium it is made of. If you have concerns about the preservation of your unique artworks then we recommend talking to us about UV glass.
CARRY ON THE SIDES
The most secure way to carry your artwork is on the side. Carrying it from the top may stretch the wood and lead to damaging the frame.
THINGS CAN GO WRONG
And if you happen to have an accident (it happens to the best of us), don’t forget that we can help with replacing glass and rebuilding a frame for you if you need it.
Until Next Time,
